Whether you're preparing for marriage or have been married for decades, this retreat is designed for married and engaged members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who desire a stronger, more intentional, Christ-centered marriage.
This retreat is for couples who recognize that healthy marriages are built by healthy individuals. Rather than simply learning new communication techniques, you'll discover how your life experiences, family relationships, and personal patterns continue to shape the way you love, communicate, and connect with one another. Through evidence-based relationship principles and gospel-centered application, you'll gain greater understanding of yourselves, deepen emotional and spiritual intimacy, and strengthen your covenant relationship.
This is not a traditional marriage conference or lecture series. Approximately 85% of the weekend is experiential, meaning you'll spend most of your time actively engaging with your spouse through carefully guided conversations, reflective exercises, and facilitated experiences rather than simply listening to presentations. Each experience intentionally builds upon the last, helping you move beyond understanding relationship concepts to actually experiencing deeper connection together.
Throughout the weekend, you'll be invited into an environment of emotional safety where curiosity replaces criticism, vulnerability replaces defensiveness, and understanding takes precedence over fixing. As you explore the experiences that have shaped your relationship, you'll develop new ways of connecting that foster greater trust, intimacy, and unity.
